Benefits of cooking camps

Here’s a look at what kids learn in cooking camps and other benefits they accrue.

Cooking skills. Camps are targeted at kids 8 and older, up through the teen years. Camps run by professional chefs or cooking schools offer professional training in a safe setting. Daily schedules may revolve around different kinds of meals, various desserts, or cuisine by country. Camps may have cooking competitions that help kids understand their skills in context.
