Hip hop dance programs appeal to kids as young as three years old who love the urban rhythms and want to get better at "freestylin' to new beats." Breakdancing camps are closely related but of course, focused more on old school b-boy moves that are uniquely acrobatic. Urban dance continues to grow in popularity, and there are many kids' dance programs that respond accordingly, with camps and classes taught by experienced performers.

Jazz dance lessons offer instruction in this somewhat traditional form of dance. This traditional form of dance can also foster an appreciation for this now-traditional form of music.
