Lacrosse camps in Toronto and Ottawa offer many benefits:

  • Kids who participate heavily in or who are focused on other sports (such as hockey, for example) will benefit heavily from the rigors of lacrosse play. This is a demanding sport, with lots of running and a heavy physical element that helps kids and teens with fitness and muscle development, in a fun, unique milieu.
  • Camp instructors can often include professional players, and young lacrosse players can learn tricks and techniques of competitive players.
  • Competitive sports camps teach kids valuable lessons in life and in leadership. Kids learn about sportsmanship, about the value of both winning and losing, and they from bonds with other kids form throughout the city.

Although there is extensive protective equipment required in lacrosse, the overall expense does not compare to what parents pay for hockey, football and other more expensive sports.
