Choose fromm 13+ locations in BC, Alberta and Ontario. Little Kitchen Academy is the leading Montessori-inspired cooking academy for children ages 3-18. LKA provides a safe and empowering environment to learn practical life skills, confidence, independence, and healthy eating habits to last a lifetime. Our 3-hour classes are typically held weekly during the school year with daily classes available as camps in the spring, summer and winter.

3-hour cooking classes developed to teach practical life skills and food literacy. Children work independently and learn to cook food from scratch. Each student puts on a chef's coat and will gather their own ingredients from the pantry or living food wall. Instructors guide them through unique cooking techniques and they have a wide range of tools at their own workstation including their own oven, cooktop and KitchenAid mixer. Food is enjoyed together at the ChopValue community table made of recycled chopsticks. All students are also provided a token at the end of class worth $1 that they make choose to donate to one of our three charity partners teaching them Care of Self, Care of Others, Care of Environment.

Seasonal enrollment is released on an ongoing basis. Currently available classes can be found at littlekitchenacademy.com. Spring, Summer and Winter camps tend to fill quickly with only ten spots available per class so sign up for email updates to be the first to know when new classes are released before they are available on the website.

Amazing instructors are selected for their skills at working with children and trained to teach our Montessori-inspired curriculum. They are certified in food safety and first aid, ensuring that your child's journey with us is not only educational but also fun, safe, and supportive.
