IDEA Lab Kids provides enrichment classes, summer camps, birthday parties, and workshops for ages 4-12. We offer customized workshops to get elementary school students engaged in STEM/STEAM. Children can take a variety of classes, including coding, cooking, engineering, robotics and science. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for everyone.
Idea Labs Kids offers more than just a camp experience. It provides a series of enrichment courses where children can explore new subjects in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math). What sets this program apart is its hands-on approach, ensuring that children are actively engaged instead of just passively listening to lectures. The instructors at Idea Labs Kids are beloved by the children for their friendly and patient teaching style, making the learning experience fun and enjoyable. By participating in Idea Labs Kids, children not only gain new skills but also leave with increased confidence and a greater sense of self. These skills can be valuable in the real world, setting them up for success in the future.

Idea Labs Kids is more than a camp, it is a series of enrichment courses where kids can try new things in STEAM, arts, and technology. They do this in an active and hands-on way so that kids are engaged and aren’t just sitting and listening to someone teach. Instructors here are well-loved by the kids, for their friendliness, patience and the fun way they teach the subjects. The cooking classes are very popular, as kids get to experiment with food and create their own recipes. What’s unique about this program is that kids do not go outside. They are inside creating and building all day. This is definitely something quite different from other camps and does have its pros and cons, but many parents like that kids are learning all day as they can run around outside at home. Kids leave Idea Labs Kids with increased confidence, a new sense of self, and some skills that can help them in the real world.

IDEA MEASURES: Your health and safety is our priority!
1. We're sanitizing everything on our campus upon arrival (door handles, toilet handles, water fountains, sink knobs, tables, chairs) and at departure. Hands will be washed frequently throughout the day and when switching classes.
2. To ensure your health and safety we are doing forehead temperature checks upon entrance. Anyone with a temperature of 99 degrees will be sent home. There would be zero tolerance for any cold/flu-like symptoms including allergies.
3. We will require pick-up and drop-off of children outside of the campus to minimize health risks, unless there is a legitimate need for you to enter.
4. We are only running classes with smaller capacity students (10:1 maximum).
5. All students must register ahead of time to ensure you have a spot when arriving onto campus. A table is set for check ins/check-out.
6. We're keeping social distancing a priority - students will sit every other chair and there won't be direct touch/play with other students
7. Food Sharing is not going to be allowed.
8. Washroom/water fountain use will be one at a time. We suggest to bring a water bottle to avoid using the fountain.
9. Our staff will be wearing masks and face shields and students 6 years old and older will be required to wear face masks.
