These programs have received high praise for creating enriching and empowering experiences, as echoed by both students and parents. Participants have particularly appreciated the practical and engaging approach to learning math, the opportunity to make new friends, and the chance to explore mathematics at a university level. The department offers a variety of specialized camps and programs, including their March Break Math Camps. These week-long online camps, designed for Grades 2-8, focus on interactive and hands-on math learning, encouraging students to explore math in real-life scenarios. For example, the Data Adventure Camp for Grades 2/3 explores numbers and patterning, while the Math in Entrepreneurship Camp for Grades 4/5 integrates financial and statistical skills into a creative project. The Diamond Heist Camp for Grades 6/7 offers a spy-themed experience, combining critical thinking with Egyptian Mathematics and Cryptography. For high school students, the department offers the March Break Math Academy, an intensive, in-person enrichment program for Grades 9-12.
