Our Wanderers program is designed to support children in learning while playing in nature.  Our programs incorporate animal-assisted learning, physical literacy and healthy risk taking, and child-led play to help them develop important life skills.  While our program welcomes all children, we are specially equipped to help neurodiverse kids learn to navigate the world.  If your child doesn't seem to fit in either traditional or special needs programs, we might just be the perfect place.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Self-regulation: All aspects of our program emphasize social emotional learning. Emotional awareness & regulation, empathy, and the associated communication skills are essential to a child's learning and well-being.
  • Courage: Risky play, animal-assisted learning, interacting with nature. These are all ways children develop awareness, problem-solving skills, and confidence. This is one of the most commonly noticed outcomes in our students.
