(5) Overall experience

My son had an amazing time at the camp. They had discussions about what made good leaders and how each and every one of us can be leaders in our communities. He also met new friends and had a lot of fun with the interactive games that they played. I like the fact that the camp is focused on helping develop wholesome character.

(5) Program quality and activities

My son had an amazing experience at the Leadership Summer Program. He particularly enjoyed the team-building exercises and problem-solving activities, which helped him bond with others. Public speaking, a first for him, challenged him to step out of his comfort zone and build confidence. The program fostered leadership, resilience, and teamwork effectively.

(5) Social dynamics and experience

The Leadership Summer Program made it easy for participants to make friends and fit into groups, thanks to its inclusive and supportive environment. One memorable bonding experience was during the team obstacle course, where participants collaborated to overcome challenges, cheered each other on, and celebrated successes together, creating a strong sense of teamwork and friendship.

(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors

The counselors and instructors at the Leadership Summer Program were incredibly approachable, supportive, and always ready to help. They created a positive environment where participants felt comfortable asking questions or seeking guidance. One instructor stood out by encouraging my son during public speaking, boosting his confidence and leaving a lasting impact on his growth.

(5) Advice and tips

First-time participants should come with an open mind and a willingness to try new things. Embrace every activity, even those that seem challenging, as they offer valuable lessons. Don’t hesitate to connect with peers and instructors—they’re all supportive. Most importantly, step out of your comfort zone and enjoy the experience fully!
