(5) Overall experience

My children were very excited to be at the summer camp and when I would pick them up, they were usually very excited and a little tired from the day’s activities. They were very eager to regale me with details of the day's activities. This camp helped develop public speaking skills in all my children, especially the youngest who is naturally quite shy. I love that they were able to interact with other kids in a safe environment while enjoying exciting and educational activities. I would definitely send my kids back to this camp in the future. it’s a great way to enjoy the summer while updating their leadership skills.

(5) Reason for choosing the camp

What initially attracted me to this camp was its focus on instilling godly values in the children. The organization’s core values align closely with my own beliefs, which made it an easy choice. I truly believe this experience was well worth the investment, and I appreciated the transparent pricing with no hidden charges.

(5) Program quality and activities

When choosing this camp, I didn’t have very specific expectations. My main priorities were safety and the organization’s core values. However, my children were hoping for a fun environment where they could interact with other kids, explore arts and crafts, and pick up new skills. The camp’s activities perfectly aligned with their interests. One of my kids particularly enjoyed the debates, while the others were thrilled with the arts and crafts sessions. I also appreciated how proactive the organization was in seeking feedback from both parents and children. They even issued questionnaires to gather suggestions on what else could be incorporated into the curriculum.

(5) Social dynamics and experience

This camp provided a wonderful opportunity for my children to interact with others and form new friendships while also strengthening existing ones. They learned valuable skills, such as collaborating on tasks and respecting diverse opinions and perspectives. My kids did not experience or report any issues with bullying or feelings of exclusion. The staff made it a priority to create an inclusive environment where every child felt comfortable enough to fully express themselves and thrive.

(5) Skills and growth

My youngest made remarkable progress in public speaking during these camps. Before attending, he was shy and would often fidget during presentations. Now, his confidence has grown significantly. As for my older children, they’ve become more proactive and willing to take the lead on tasks, no longer hesitating to raise their hands and participate. The debates, in particular, were incredibly engaging and challenged them to think analytically and objectively, sharpening their critical thinking skills.

(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors

This organization has a highly professional team, and the staff communicated efficiently and effectively throughout. Daily email reports detailed the activities and key learning points, keeping parents well-informed. The management team was always accessible and responsive to any questions, regardless of the time. While I didn’t personally witness any conflicts, I’m confident they would have been handled with professionalism.

(5) Advice and tips

I would definitely advise anyone considering this camp to go for it. It is a great opportunity for children to enjoy the summer while improving their leadership skills. The focus of the organizers on good behavior and great morals cannot be overemphasized. I do believe this camp does a great job of equipping the children with skills that they will need to thrive in today’s world. There’s nothing I can think of that I wish I had known before enrolling my kids.
