Saturday STEM Clubs for kids

Our EngSci club is designed for youth in grades 2 to grade 6. This club will give them the opportunity to discover and learn through projects such as chemistry experiments, biology experiments, physics and engineering challenges, 3D printing, robotics, coding & much more!

Our EngTech club is designed for youth in grades 3 to grade 6. This club will give participants an opportunity to use real computer science labs! Participants will get to work on a variety of computer-based projects like animation, programming, design & 3D modeling. Participants will also get the opportunity to do hands-on projects relating to engineering and technology.

The MakerGirls club is very similar to the EngTech club, but is specifically designed for girls in grades 4 through 7. Over the course of the program, the girls will learn more about coding and robotics, and will perform 3D modelling, coding, and micro:bit activities, among others.

The STEM club in Kanata (provided in French only) is aimed at children in grades 2 to 6. The club provides a positive atmosphere to promote science and engineering. Participants enjoy fun, hands-on activities related to engineering, science and computer programming. This club will give them the opportunity to discover and learn through projects such as chemistry experiments, biology experiments, physics and engineering challenges, 3D printing, robotics, coding & much more!

The clubs are run in a bilingual model (except in the Kanata model which is run in French only) and are located at the uOttawa campus. The cost is $135 for 5 in person Saturdays. You can enrol your child for the Saturday morning session or the afternoon session.
