Creature campers will explore the garden, forests, and creeks to learn about animals and bugs. They will develop skills in identifying animal tracks, try birding to spot local species, and learn how to help our local wildlife. It’s a hands-on week of discovery and learning about the diverse life thriving in and around Toronto Botanical Garden.

Discover Our Weekly Themes! 

Creature Camp (June 30 to July 4 | August 5 to 8)
Explore gardens, forests, and creeks to learn about animals and bugs. Develop skills in identifying animal tracks, try birding, and safely get to know TBG’s honeybees.

Nature Quest Camp (July 7 to 11 | July 28 to August 1)
Dive into a week of adventure at Nature Quest Camp! Solve puzzles, follow clues, and explore gardens, creeks, and forest trails. Each day brings new challenges and treasures, leading to a grand finale adventure.

Magical Adventure Camp (July 14 to 18 | August 11 to 15)
Uncover the magic of the forest! Make a wand, learn nature potions, create stories about magical creatures, and craft your own fairy door to take home.

Wilderness Camp (July 21 to 25 | August 18 to 22)
Adventure awaits as campers learn to safely make a fire, build a forest shelter, and discover the uses of different plants in the Wilket Creek ravine.

Celebrate Summer Camp (August 25 to 29)
Join us for classic summer games, building friendships, and creating memories. Cap off the week with our “Celebrate Summer Party” for the perfect close to a week filled with summer pleasures.



Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Generosity: All TBGKids camps include support our Teaching Garden (watering, weeding and harvesting) with all produce donated to our local North York Harvest Food Bank.
  • Curiosity: Campers are encouraged to ask questions and express their curiosity throughout the camp. Counsellors promote lifelong learning together.
