Woodworking 101: Pine (Gr. 5-8)

Learn basic woodworking skills in a safe, exploration-based environment! Students will learn basic safety practices, hand tools, construction techniques, and finishing methods. No experience required! 

New to woodworking? Come join us in a fun, exploration-based environment to learn how to work with wood safely, use hand tools, build basic structures, and finish wooden projects to a high level of detail. Over the course of several short projects, students will gain skills, accumulate experience and build confidence to be able to pursue their own woodworking projects. Activities will be modified to student age and ability. 

If students have taken our Intro to Woodworking course in the past, this course will offer brand-new woodworking projects and they can build on the skills they have already learned!
