(5) Overall experience

Camp was great. My child loved the instructors and loved learning the ninja course and climbing. They became more confident and since then, have continued taking classes. The staff are amazing. Very energetic and always coming up with fun things to keep the kids engaged. It was a great opportunity to interact with other kids and develop a love for the sport. My child was very happy with her experience and always enjoys returning to the facility as a result.

(5) Reason for choosing the camp

It was a new activity that my daughter was interested in learning and seeing that the camp was being offered it was a great way to experience it to see if she wanted to proceed. She absolutely loved it and has since been a regular participant in their weekly classes. The overall vibe in the gym is so welcoming and the staff is amazing. They are always there to help and encourage as the kids try new things.

(5) Program quality and activities

The camp overall is very well run. There is a perfect balance of activities and exploration of the rock climbing and ninja warrior courses. When I picked her up at the end of the day, none of the kids wanted to leave; they all wanted to stay longer and enjoy the facility and show the parents the new things they learned. They also change things up so kids that attend multiple sessions don't have repetition.

(5) Social dynamics and experience

The camp experience was great for cultivating new friendships. They do a great job in ensuring all kids feel included. I was not aware of any bullying occurring but I am confident that the staff is fully equipped to handle any situations that may come and address those respectfully and accordingly. The staff encourages activities that help foster inclusivity among the group and are consistently monitoring to ensure all campers feel they belong.

(5) Skills and growth

Self-confidence was the biggest thing I saw firsthand that my child gained. The sense of accomplishment and pride of making the climb or completing a tough obstacle. The staff have a very good structure in the setup to help balance the kids' ability to participate. They have a good balance of "easy" activities with a mix of more challenging ones to allow the kids to work toward accomplishing them by the end of the session. The physical strength building and endurance were great add-ons as well.

(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors

The staff at the facility is amazing. They are very creative, energetic, and fun. They are always keeping the kids busy, and the kids absolutely love them. They're always checking in with the kids and asking for their input if they would like to do something more or different. They are very accommodating and very well-organized. They send out very thorough communication of what your child needs and provide a general flow of the day. They are very open to feedback and are always a pleasure to talk to.

(5) Advice and tips

If their child is looking for a different camp experience that blends some traditional camp activities with a bit of new physical activity challenges, this is the camp for them. Not only will they learn to love climbing and ninja, but the personal growth they gain in confidence, resilience, and teamwork is far greater. Once they try this camp they will want to explore climbing and or ninja further.
