(5) Overall experience
My daughter always comes back super happy and excited to go again. It makes me so happy to see my daughter this happy. I would 100% send her back to this camp. There are so many fun activities to do. She makes lots of friends and always has lots of fun. It is also very clean, especially for a barn. There are also donkeys and geese which my daughter loves seeing. Looking forward to next year. I definitely recommend this camp.
(5) Reason for choosing the camp
I originally sent my daughter to this camp because her best friend also attended it and they said it was great. I chose this camp over others because my daughter loves horseback riding and she is already familiar with the horses since she attends their riding school every week.
(5) Program quality and activities
My daughter loves horses and loves riding them. They include many other activities like horsemanship, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, and much more. She especially loved riding horses and ponies because they were very reliable, sweet, and amazing. In horsemanship, my daughter learned all kinds of new things, such as their body parts, brushes, and more.
(5) Social dynamics and experience
My daughter has made many friendships that she still has to this day. She has never experienced any type of bullying at this camp. All the campers are very nice and kind. They always help each other out when needed. Bullying is not tolerated at this camp and the staff makes sure of that. I totally recommend this camp.
(4.5) Skills and growth
My daughter always comes home with her riding skills improved. If she is not 100% comfortable with doing something, they will never force her to do it. When she does swimming she always improves by swimming with all of her friends.
(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors
All of the staff are very kind and welcoming. They make sure she’s having a great time. She is familiar with most of the staff because she rides at the barn every week. There are not many conflicts to be solved but when there are the staff takes action right away.
(3) Advice and tips
Overall, this camp is really good with all of its activities, and I do not have many tips or much advice. I think they should add a bus program because it can be really hard to drive our kids to this camp if we do not live close by. It would be a lot easier for the parents if they added buses.
