Located in Stouffville, ON, we offer seasonal camps for kids aged 7-13 with a horsey twist! Campers ride twice a day during March & Winter Break camps, and once a day in Summer camp. Daily lessons and activities are supervised by qualified first aid certified staff. We offer a pool, several ponds to fish and canoe in, as well as open fields for plenty of activities. We also offer horsemanship and treat making for our four-legged friends. Camp hours are 9-4 with before and after care available at an additional cost. Pause Awhile is a home away from home, and we have several seasoned riders who started with us as kids in camp. We offer a friendly, welcoming environment for individuals who just may want to ride recreationally, or if you have goals set on competitions we will set you up for that as well.

Registration is online only, through Jotform. You can call or email us if you have any questions prior to applying. We respond to our camp inquiries on a weekly basis.

Many of our staff grew up as campers and have come up through the ranks at Pause Awhile. They have a strong foundation with horses and hope to pass on the passion and knowledge to the next generation of riders. All of our camp councilors and instructors are First Aid and CPR certified.
