Baking and Decorating

New for 2024! We are excited for campers to experience this hands-on program designed to help young bakers feel more comfortable in the kitchen. Our specialist staff will teach our aspiring bakers how to make a variety of different baked goods, including cookies, breads, cakes and more! Campers will learn how to safely navigate the kitchen to make sweet treats! Staff will focus instruction on skills such as measuring ingredients, understanding the chemistry of baking and how to use different icing techniques. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome to participate in this exclusive program. Campers will end the week by taking home a collection of recipes to start their own recipe books. Campers are encouraged to wear their favourite apron, and a reusable food storage container to bring home and share some of their creations! Baking and Decorating campers will also enjoy other activities that Camp Laureate has to offer, including traditional day camp activities, theme days, special guests, hot lunches and more! Get ready to bake up a storm!
