Costa Rica: Surf, Sports & Sustainability

Bring your surf--and leadership-- skills to the next level! This experience is ideal for those looking to log hours in the ocean, explore a new culture, make new friends, and get hands-on experience in the field of environmental conservation through volunteer work. Learn from local leaders and meet teens from across North America (and the world!) as you spend two weeks working, playing, and learning together.

We'll learn to surf, or level up our skills, with an established surfing organization in Costa Rica's Guanacaste region. Days will be filled with surf lessons, cultural exploration and adventure excursions. We'll also spend roughly 30 hours engaging in a variety of projects from sapling planting to trash pickup to habitat restoration. Take a traditional cooking class or hear from local leaders and professionals on a variety of topics. We'll also dive deep to discover our individual paths, including exploring our leadership styles and professional and educational goals for the future.
