Ghana: Children of Africa

Journey to West Africa, where you'll bring your leadership skills to the next level! This experience is ideal for those looking to explore a new culture, make new friends, and get hands-on experience in the field of education through volunteer work. Learn from local leaders and meet teens from across North America (and the world!) as you spend two or three weeks working, playing, and learning together.

In the mornings, we'll wake early and head to a local elementary school, where we'll engage in a variety of projects from classroom teaching to tutoring to infrastructure projects. After lunch, spend time at our beautiful Home Base, learn to cook Ghanaian foods, and delve into this regions incredible handicrafts such as batik, clothesmaking, dance, and drumming. We'll also dive deep to discover our individual paths, including exploring our leadership styles and professional and educational goals for the future.
