Child and Youth lessons welcome beginner and intermediate-level skaters aged 6-12 who are learning to skate for the first time or improving their skills. In these lessons, Evergreen’s skilled instructors will teach skaters basic skating skills, pushing and gliding techniques, as well as backwards and stopping in a fun, group environment. 4-week sessions are available on our beautiful outdoor rink. 


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Physicality: Our skating lessons are hard work and a lot of fun!
  • Resilience: Skating can be a touch skill to learn! With encouragement from our skilled instructors, every skater will be ready to take on the challenge.
