Invent, Create, Solve: Unleash Your Imagination!

What Makes This Program Special?

This workshop is designed to inspire creativity and problem-solving skills in kids ages 6-11. What makes it unique is that children are not just building for fun—they're challenged to invent something brand new, improve an existing idea, or solve real-world problems using a wide variety of materials. It's a hands-on, interactive experience that pushes kids to think outside the box and turn their ideas into reality.

What Will Kids Do & Experience?

  • Invent from Scratch or Improve Existing Design – Create new inventions or make something even better.
  • Think Critically – Discuss and consider what is needed versus what could be fun.
  • Problem-Solving Challenges – Use materials to solve real-world problems, like building a bridge or a water filter.
  • Collaborative Creativity – Work with other kids to brainstorm ideas, share techniques, and build together.
  • Test & Tinker – Experiment, iterate, and adjust your designs as you learn what works!

What a Typical Day May Look Like?

Introduction to the Challenge – Discuss what problems we can solve or an invention we can create.
Idea Brainstorming – Kids will brainstorm, sketch, and plan their designs.
Hands-On Building – Using materials provided, children will start constructing their inventions or improvements.
Experimentation & Testing – They’ll test their creations to see how they work, adjust and improve.
Reflection & Sharing – At the end of the day, kids will present their inventions and share their process and results with the group.

What Will Kids Take Away?

By the end of the program, kids will have developed critical thinking skills, gained confidence in their ability to create, and learned how to approach challenges with a hands-on, experimental mindset. They’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment, new ideas, and the excitement to continue inventing!

Ready to invent and create? Join us for an adventure in imagination and innovation!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Independence: This workshop builds independence by encouraging kids to design, create, and solve problems on their own. They’ll experiment, troubleshoot, and refine their ideas, gaining confidence in decision-making and problem-solving, while learning to take ownership of their learning process.
  • Curiosity: his workshop builds curiosity by encouraging kids to ask questions, explore new ideas, and experiment with materials to create unique inventions. As they face challenges, they’ll wonder “What happens if I try this?” and “How can I make it better?”—sparking a desire to learn and explore more.
