The Discovery Day Camp Leadership Program is designed for older campers, going into Grades 8 and 9, who want to develop leadership skills and take on responsibilities within the camp community.

Participants engage in leadership training, team-building activities, and mentorship opportunities, allowing them to grow personally while assisting with camp operations and guiding younger campers through their summer experiences.

Typical Schedule

  • 8:15 - 8:35 AM - Camper is dropped off in the morning
  • 8:40 - 11:55 AM - Group team building games, leadership skill development, goal setting
  • 12:00 - 1:35 PM - Lunch/Activity
  • 1:40 - 4:05 PM - Placement
  • 4:15 - 4:30 PM - Campers get picked up from Camp
  • 4:15 - 5:15 PM - Extended Care

Dining Program

All Leadership Program campers get a fresh, healthy lunch everyday in our brand new dining hall. In addition, campers also get nutritious snacks twice a day.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: The Leadership Program at Discovery Day Camp provides campers the opportunity to develop teambuilding and valuable leadership skills, while alongside others.
