Work Crew

Because WC sessions have limited capacity, participants build deep, personal, lasting friendships. Working hard can be difficult and challenging, but it can also be a powerful, positive experience when working together!

Work crew members work hard. Washing dishes (700 place settings daily!), cleaning toilets, sinks and floors take up a big part of your day.  In addition you will enjoy tubing, gaga ball, volleyball, laughter, spontaneous fun, and lots more! Work crew emphasizes spiritual growth and developing life skills and leadership skills. You will be challenged and stretched in your faith as you grow through discussion and Bible study. We are looking for teens who can serve others joyfully without seeking attention for themselves. 

Work crew can be a significant asset in applying for your first job and will satisfy school volunteer requirements. Work crew participants are given preference for future Leader-in-Training and summer team positions. Come to Camp and watch God work in and through you. 

The schedule for a typical Work Crew day is as follows:

8:30 am  Breakfast

9:15 am  Clean & Work

11:30 am  Study Time

12:30 pm  Lunch

1:15 pm  Clean & Work

2:00 pm  Waterfront Activities

4:00 pm  Study Time

5:00 pm  Supper

6:00 pm  Fireside
