Founded in 1929, Camp Hermosa is a welcoming Christian summer camp that encourages campers of all ages to put down their phones and connect with their peers, their surroundings, and God. Located on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, just outside of Goderich, Hermosa’s stunning natural setting is the perfect environment for a week of fun, adventure, and growth. We offer a wide range of summer activities, including swimming lessons, nature hikes, sports, campfires, crafts, Bible study, and a variety of delicious themed meals. Most days end with a quiet, contemplative worship service at Vesper Point, a clearing in the trees that overlooks Lake Huron, boasting some of the world’s most beautiful sunsets.

Sign-up for Camp Hermosa is an easy and accessible online process. We begin accepting registrations a year in advance and welcome all who are interested in attending. We pride ourselves on keeping camper registration fees low & affordable, and offer partial or full bursaries to families for whom costs are prohibitive, on a first-come first-served basis.

A group of energetic, faithful, and dedicated staff keep our camp in tip-top shape all summer long! With certified lifeguards, dynamic and trustworthy cabin leaders, a trained support worker, an on-site nurse, creative kitchen staff, and hardworking maintenance & administrative staff, all areas of camp life are well taken care of. Our summer staff are beloved by campers and look forward to connecting year after year.
