2025 Sports Camp for Boys

At Camp Chikopi, we offer a unique and immersive experience for boys, combining over 100 years of tradition with an action-packed sports-focused program. Our goal is to help boys develop confidence, character, and lasting friendships through sports, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. 

Our program is designed to cater to all skill levels, ensuring that every boy can grow and thrive. Activities are diverse and include specialized lessons in swimming, tennis, sailing, soccer, and more. Boys participate in a mix of assigned and elective activities, allowing them to try new things and pursue their passions. We also host special weekly events that provide friendly competition and team-building opportunities. 

A typical day at Chikopi starts with morning exercises to get the boys energized, followed by several activity periods. After a nutritious family-style meal, boys continue their activities, focusing on improving skills and forming meaningful connections with their peers and counselors. The day concludes with evening activities, such as campfires or group games, before settling down in their cabins. 

Each cabin is home to a small group of campers, with 12-14 boys living together and learning the value of teamwork and mutual respect. Counselors, who are often former campers themselves, live in the cabins as mentors and role models. This unique setup ensures a tight-knit, supportive environment where boys are encouraged to build resilience, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 

Throughout the program, boys gain valuable life skills, from developing sports techniques to learning how to navigate social interactions, communicate effectively, and manage group dynamics. Camp Chikopi is about more than just sports; it is about creating well-rounded young men who will take the lessons learned at camp with them for years to come.
