(4.5) Overall experience
My first summer I went with a friend and had a great time.
The next summer I was on my own and was a little uncomfortable about going by myself.
When I arrived I knew boys from the summer before and quickly made new friends.
I had such a good time that I can’t wait to go back this summer!
The food was good.We had sports all day so no trouble to go to sleep except we did tell lots of stories to each other at night!
The counsellors were all good too!
(4.5) Program quality and activities
We had sports all day.
I swam two or three times a day as I am a competitive swimmer.
My favorite was kayaking and canoeing.
We also played basketball which was fun too.
We played some games that I hadn’t played before.
We also had a lake swim and I improved my time a lot from the summer before!
(4.5) Social dynamics and experience
When I arrived, the counsellor told me some of the boys were looking forward to seeing me, so that made me feel better about being on my own.
I also met some new friends and hope they will be there when I return this summer.
It is also good to see some boys from camp when I go to swim meets in Ontario.
