Summer Drama Camp

YPT Drama School is thrilled to be offering eight weeks of dynamic, engaging and exciting Summer Drama Camps from July 2 – August 23 for campers entering SK – Gr. 12. This summer we have added more sessions for all age groups so there is something for everyone. Students will get creative, discover new and fun ways to express themselves, and perform on a YPT stage for family and friends at the end of camp!

YPT Summer Camps take place in brand new classrooms at YPT 161 Studios and our theatre spaces across the street at 165 Front Street East. We are thrilled to offer brand new camps including Teen Intensive Camp and Junior Intensive Camp, as well as the return of Musical Theatre Camp and Film Camp! Plus, we’re offering After-Camp Fun for all grades.

At YPT Summer Drama Camps campers will…

• Develop acting, voice, movement and character creation skills
• Develop confidence and creativity through drama exercises and improv activities
• Work collaboratively with their peers to foster teamwork, communication, confidence and trust
• Collaborate to create their own play, with a unique plot and characters that will be performed on a YPT stage the final day of camp
• Play drama games, laugh with new friends and HAVE FUN!

Please note that with the exception of our JK-SK programming, all of our Summer Camp programs run for two weeks.
