Second Year SC Trippers Program

New for 2019 is the Second Year Student Counsellor – Tripper (SC2T) program. Focusing on many of the skills that have brought success to the SC2 program, the SC2T program adds an extended wilderness canoe trip as a 10-14 day “floating classroom.” (Trip length to be confirmed). The SC2T program aims to help shape the next generation of trip leaders.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Independence: This stream of the Student Counsellor program will have campers participate in most activities with the other streams, in addition to a longer trip that will foster new skills and independent learning.
Responsibility: As role models of the camp in this role, the SC campers will be taking on a more responsible outlook on their behaviour and values. This will provide ownership of their actions.
