Piano Lessons (In-Person)

Your child’s lessons will start wherever your child is in their piano playing, from complete beginner all the way up to knowing everything about the piano. Your child’s teacher will guide them and customize each lesson to fit your child’s needs so that each lesson is engaging, enjoyable and educational. Each lesson has a combination of essential musical skills, playing music and developing creativity so that your child develops discipline, resiliency, empathy, responsibility, creativity and confidence all through learning to play the piano. 

Because performing cultivates confidence and cements playing skills, your child will have the opportunity to take part in two informal performance opportunities and two formal recitals during the School Year at Willowdale School of Music. 

We also offer piano lessons online, so that you can take piano lessons in whatever format works best for your family.

If this is your child’s first time meeting the piano at the trial lesson, your child will learn an easy song, meet their teacher and learn all about the piano. If your child already knows how to play the piano, they will meet their future teacher and play something they already know.
