Our Introduction to Riding Package offers two one-hour lessons that provide new riders with a well-rounded, hands-on introduction to basic riding skills, grooming, and tacking. This package is designed for children and adults who are eager to explore horseback riding while building a solid foundation in both riding and horse care in a safe and supportive environment.

What Will Riders Experience?

In the Introduction to Riding Package, riders will:

What Does a Typical Day/Class Look Like?

• Arrival & Horse Prep – Each session begins with grooming the horse and tacking up, where riders will learn the necessary steps to prepare their horse for riding.
• Riding Time – Riders will spend time in the saddle practicing basic riding skills, including steering, balance, and walking. Instruction will be geared toward gaining comfort and control in the saddle.
• Feedback & Wrap-Up – At the end of each lesson, instructors provide constructive feedback, review the day’s learning, and offer tips for improvement in the next session.
