What Does a Typical Assessment Look Like?

• Welcome & Introduction – Meet your instructor and discuss riding experience and goals.
• Groundwork & Horse Prep – Learn or demonstrate basic grooming, tacking up, and horse handling.
• Mounted Assessment – Riders will walk, trot, and (if capable) canter under the instructor’s guidance.
• Feedback & Next Steps – Receive personalized recommendations for lesson placement or further development.
