UC Adventure camp offers a wide variety of exciting experiences for campers 7 to 13 years of age. Adventure campers experience the best of a variety of disciplines including sports, science, arts, drama, music, and more! Specialized STEAM programming is a highlight of Adventure camp, sparking an interest in sciences and technology that will last them long into the school year and their lives. These programs are run in small, consistent cohorts to promote team building and interpersonal skills. Adventure camp is a perfect choice for kids who want to explore a variety of interests and find their passions. Our programming includes:
Sports: Soccer, ball hockey, badminton, basketball, archery, dance and flag football are among the many physical/sporting activities at Adventure camp.
Coding/Technology: Campers get high quality beginner education in coding and computer engineering, as well as opportunities to learn photoshop and online comic design.
Engineering: Kids who love to build will be excited about activities in robotics, structure building, 3D printing, and game design.
Art: Campers explore their creative side in visual arts through painting, sculpture, sketching, and more.
Science: Chemistry is made fun through colourful, kid-approved experiments. Natural biology is explored through field trips to ponds and forests.
Drama+Music: Campers play theatre and improv games, learning the techniques of the pros. Kids also learn drums and other fun instruments in collaborative music games — and the chance to make their own music using online software!
