ORC is known for our history and depth in the Ottawa Community. Established in 1867, we have been rowing continuously longer than any other Club in Canada. We pride ourselves on the wide range of programs we provide to all ages and abilities. With our ongoing growth, we continue to give back to our programs and communities by developing our offerings and widening our reach. Offering introductory courses like Discover Rowing Camps, Junior Development, and Adult Learn to Row is the best way to begin an athlete's journey of lifelong rowing.

Our staff stands out for their experience, passion, and dedication to creating a supportive environment where every rower is encouraged to grow. Our staff are athletes themselves, which is essential for delivering the program with passion. They are all certified by Rowing Canada to instruct Rowing, and hold a Standard First Aid Certification. Athletes often find our staff's genuine enthusiasm, attention, and support the most memorable.
