We’re gearing up for a fantastic summer full of all the arts. SummerArts Camp at Ross Creek is dedicated to fully engaging your child and giving them amazing new skills. Far more than an ordinary camp, Ross Creek gives your child all the advantages of an amazing art program with the rec and atmosphere of a camp all on an incredible site overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

At Ross Creek, we provide an amazing art week taught by professional artists and a great camp experience for kids on our 178 acres of field and forest, led by our fabulous counsellors. Whether searching for the Creekster, creating a masterpiece or making new friends, our camps have something for every kid! We offer programs in dance, theatre, music and art. Our youngest campers explore the theme of the week through a variety of arts, outdoor adventures, and skill development. Play and creative exploration are the hallmarks of our junior program, setting them up for a lifetime of magic and wonder.

SummerArts day camps are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm; Campers ages 7+ can add Thursday overnight as an option. Limited bussing is available on a first come basis.  For 2024, we're expanding our Juniors programming to two extra weeks in August!

July 07-11
The Mighty Jungle
Through stories and science, we’ll explore the creatures, cultures, and absolutely wild wonders of the world’s jungles! From Anacondas in the Amazon to Upcountry gorillas in Uganda, this will be an amazing and fun week full of songs, stories, and art! We’ll create a jungle habitat in our studio and a pageant of jungle creatures! There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!

July 14-18
Dynamic Dinosaurs
From the terrific T-Rex to the benign Brontosaurus, we will explore the amazing world when dinosaurs roamed the earth! From stories to making habitats in art, to a dino-dig, we’ll have a roaring time with the ancient beasts of the air, the earth and the seas! There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!

July 21-25
Secret Gardens
We’ll make our own secret garden and explore the hidden life of gardens from the perfect pollinators to the very ground beneath our feet! We’ll make garden stories, puppets and costumes, invite fairies to come visit our secret garden, and explore the world of wonder that is the garden! There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!

July 28 – August 01
Treasure Island: Mermaids and Mysteries
In pirate week, we will take our treasure maps and sail the seven seas, landing in magical places full of mythical creatures from cultures around the world! Using stories, plays, and art, we’ll go on a grand adventure of the high seas! There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!

August 18-22
Down by the Bay
We’ll find out what it’s like to live on the ocean floor! 🐚🌊🐙🦑 We’ll draw inspiration from both deep-sea and Fundy habitats, the tides, and discover what amazing animals can be found! We’ll make stories and creatures, create an artistic ocean habitat in our studio and create a costumed pageant! There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!

August 25-29
To the Moon!
Look up – look waaaay up! We will explore the myths and mysteries (and science) of the moon – from fairy tales to moon missions, from rocket ships to moon cheese, we’ll make our own art, play, and stories about the moon. There will be an end of week showcase where campers can share what they created!
