We’re gearing up for a fantastic summer full of all the arts. SummerArts Camp at Ross Creek is a program dedicated to fully engaging your child and giving them amazing new skills.

Far more than an ordinary camp, Ross Creek gives your child all the advantages of an amazing art program with the rec and atmosphere of a camp all on an incredible site overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

With organic gardens and professional artist studios, for city kids from around the world or country kids from down the road, Ross Creek provides an unrivaled program.

At Ross Creek we provide an amazing art day taught by professional artists and a great camp experience for kids on our 178 acres of field and forest, led by our fabulous counsellors. Whether exploring the world of making, or make-believe, drumming or dancing, making movies, or making monsters on paper,  our camps have something for every kid! Kids get outside each day, and explore our gorgeous landscape as part of their program.

Our Intermediate campers have a choice of continuing with thematic weeks or beginning to explore a particular art form in more depth, learning from our professional artists and gaining new skills while still focused on the creative exploration of the world, through the arts.

SummerArts overnight camps are Sunday to Friday.

July 08-12
The world of Art
Get ready for a full week of amazing art exploration through drawing, painting, sculpture and more! Drawing inspiration from art from around the world, campers will start to see what they are drawn to and see how to create their own masterpieces! Remember we always take campers to the next level, so if they have taken camp before, they’ll expand and develop their skills!

Or
Fabulous Fashion
It’s incredible to see what campers  create with our designer faculty – more than sewing, this camp will explore the possibilities of textiles in all kinds of forms and fashions, while also looking at how to repurpose and reimagine the world of fashion!

July 15-19
Triple Threat
The show must go on! This camp explores the world of musical theatre with the most fabulous Patrick Maubert and will create new confidence and collaboration skills in campers through an ensemble creation of acting, singing, and movement  that puts them centre stage!

or
Animation Nation
From flipbooks to stop motion, Animation at Ross Creek is awesome! Learn different techniques and create a fabulous film from concept to credits!

July 22-26
Sagas, Sails, and Seamonsters!
During Pirate Week, Ross Creek campers will explore stories and art of tall ships, sea storms, and crazy underwater creatures, and even hunt for some buried treasure! Campers will make their own stories and art all inspired by stories of the seven seas!

or
Manga Mania
Our fabulous Comic book program is back, with a full week of exploring the way comics are made – from concept to Comic-Con! Campers will work with our incredible professional comic creator to make their own characters, storyboards and completed comics, ending the week with a signing at the Ross Creek Creek Comic-Con!

July 29 – August 02
Maps, Myths, and Mysteries!
We’ll explore the world of maps – with their crazy creatures, perplexing perspectives and roads to nowhere, we’ll follow some treasure maps to explore Ross Creek, and even make our own maps of imaginary places!

or
Lights! Camera! Action!
Working together as a team, our film campers will explore the creation of a movie from brilliant idea to final credits. They’ll create the storyboards, make the set and costumes, write the script, and film and act to create a movie masterpiece!
