Campers will explore the magic of filmmaking from start to finish—learning about camera angles, acting techniques, and the art of storytelling. Whether you’re behind the camera or starring in front of it, this camp will help you bring your creative vision to life and end the week with a premiere of your very own movie!

What to Expect:

Each day, campers will dive into a new part of the filmmaking process while building their skills and confidence:

• Day 1 (Intro to Filmmaking & Camera Angles): Learn the roles of a film crew, practice acting with fun drama games, and explore basic camera angles while filming short scenes from Ghost Hunters of Route 666.
• Day 2 (Acting & Advanced Camera Work): Develop acting skills with guided monologues, finish filming various camera shots, and practice editing using iMovie.
• Day 3 (Monologues & Storytelling): Hone your acting skills with powerful monologues, learn the art of storytelling, and prepare for the big film project.
• Day 4 (Filming the Final Project): Take on your chosen film crew role—director, actor, sound technician, or editor—and begin shooting Ghost Hunters using professional techniques.
• Day 5 (Editing & Premiere): Finalize your film with editing and sound design, then celebrate the week’s work with a special screening of Ghost Hunters for the entire class!
