In this dynamic camp, young photographers will learn how to capture stunning images and transform them using professional tools like Adobe Photoshop. From taking breathtaking outdoor shots to mastering photo-editing techniques, campers will build their own digital portfolios and explore how technology and creativity come together to create art.

What to Expect:

• Basic Photography & Editing Skills: Learn the fundamentals of photography, including perspective, color, and texture, while practicing indoor and outdoor photo shoots. Then dive into Photoshop to enhance your photos with basic tools like cropping, color adjustments, and more.
• Neighborhood Photo Walks & Field Trips: Head out into the neighborhood to capture unique architectural features, vibrant street scenes, and natural landscapes. Back in the lab, use Photoshop to enhance contrast, adjust lighting, and bring your photos to life.
• Macro Photography & Creative Compositions: Discover the art of macro photography by capturing close-up images of everyday objects. Then, experiment with creative compositions inspired by artists like Zev Hoover, using Photoshop to superimpose subjects and create surreal photo collages.
• HDR Photography Techniques: Explore High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography by taking multiple exposure shots and blending them in Photoshop to create stunning, high-contrast images that capture every detail, from bright skies to deep shadows.
• Personal Photo Project & Portfolio Showcase: Apply everything you’ve learned in a personal photo project. Whether you’re capturing the perfect sunset or creating a digital masterpiece, you’ll edit and refine your work to showcase in your own online portfolio. The week wraps up with a special photo exhibit where you’ll share your best work with classmates!

The other half of each day will include outdoor activities such as sports, organized group games, nature walks, water-based fun, and creative free-play activities. While some activities may tie into photography and art, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in playful outdoor experiences.
