Through outdoor adventures, creative projects, and scientific investigations, campers will uncover the secrets of these vibrant habitats and the creatures that call them home.

Each day offers a blend of outdoor exploration and creative, science-based activities:

  • Day 1 (Ponds): Learn the difference between ponds and lakes, explore a real pond on a field trip, and create your own 3D pond diorama.
  • Day 2 (Frogs): Discover the frog life cycle, craft 3D models, and sing fun frog songs while learning about amphibians.
  • Day 3 (Pond Life): Dive into the world of pond plants and animals, and create water lily art inspired by Monet.
  • Day 4 (Wetland Birds): Learn how ducks float, draw and label wetland birds, and create a handprint mallard masterpiece.
  • Day 5 (Pond Field Trip): Return to the wetlands for pond dipping, sketch pond creatures, and wrap up the week with reflections and fun.

Wetland Wonders is perfect for curious kids who love nature, wildlife, and getting their hands dirty! Whether your child is an aspiring biologist, an artist inspired by nature, or just loves outdoor adventures, this camp is ideal for children ages 5-6.
