Join us for Plants and Pollinators, an exciting hands-on half-day camp where young nature enthusiasts dive into the world of plants, flowers, butterflies, and bees! Through fun experiments, creative projects, and outdoor adventures, campers will discover the vital role plants and pollinators play in our ecosystem. Get ready to dig, grow, and buzz with excitement!

What to Expect:

• Intro to Plants: Go on a plant scavenger hunt, create biodegradable seedling pots, and learn how to be an urban gardener.
• Flowers & Plant Parts: Dissect flowers, explore plant anatomy, and craft colorful plant models with clay.
• Butterflies: Discover the life cycle of butterflies, create beautiful symmetrical butterfly art, and learn about metamorphosis.
• Bees: Dive into the world of bees with fun experiments, scientific drawings, and a hands-on pollination game.
• Wild Things: Celebrate the week with Where the Wild Things Are inspired dances and creative activities based on nature’s untamed beauty!

The other half of each day will include a variety of outdoor activities such as sports, organized group games, nature walks, water-based fun, and creative free play. While some activities may tie into plant and pollinator themes, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in outdoor fun.
