ESL: Story World

Step into a world of imagination and adventure with Story World, an ESL camp designed for young learners aged 7-9 who love stories and want to improve their English! Through reading, writing, drama, and creative activities, campers will explore different story genres while building their vocabulary and boosting their confidence in speaking English.

What to Expect:

• Day 1: Fairy Tales – Dive into classic fairy tales like Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Little Pigs. Campers will act out stories, create their own fairy tales, and learn storytelling vocabulary in fun, interactive ways.
• Day 2: Fantasy – Travel to magical worlds filled with dragons, wizards, and enchanted lands! Campers will design their own fantasy worlds, mix “magical” potions, and use descriptive language to bring their stories to life.
• Day 3: Superheroes – Discover what it takes to be a hero! Campers will create their own superhero characters, practice action vocabulary, and even attend superhero training sessions to build their confidence and teamwork skills.
• Day 4: Myths and Legends – Explore ancient myths and legendary tales from around the world. Campers will learn about famous mythical heroes, create their own legendary creatures, and design masks inspired by mythical gods and goddesses.
• Day 5: Animals and Stories – Celebrate animal tales with stories like Grumpy Monkey and The Snail and the Whale. Campers will make their own animal puppets and perform puppet shows, practicing dialogue and storytelling in English.
