The Great Thinkers program offers children 8-12 years a fun week of outdoor play and exploration through an urban Forest School experience with child-centred, inquiry-driven, experiential and active outdoor play in the Landscape of Canada Gardens and neighbouring children's parks. Each week includes storytelling, art, wilderness skills and fun science activities led by museum interpreters and forest school educators to spark your child's mind.

Le programme Grands penseurs est une façon amusante et passionnante pour les enfants (8-12 ans) de passer l'été! Ce camp offre une approche d’école forestière urbaine avec des contes, de l’art et des jeux en plein air centrés sur l’enfant, axés sur la recherche, l’expérience et l’activité dans le paysage des jardins du Canada et les parcs pour enfants avoisinants.
Chaque semaine comprend des activités amusantes menées par des interprètes scientifiques du musée et des éducateurs de l'école forestière pour éveiller l'esprit de votre enfant.
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Self-regulation: Out to Play uses PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy) to coach children through big feelings and help them learn that they can do hard things.
Curiosity: Out to Play embraces curiosity as a motivation to learn both about the natural world and about ourselves! Children are encouraged to ask questions and educators model what questions they might be asking in their play.
