Using tissue paper as your medium, you will design your own unique pattern or image – abstract, referenced or imagined on the glass of your jar lantern. Your lantern will glow beautifully with a candle or twinkle with lights! Let your imagination shine through and create a warm and cozy feeling for your home! Feel free to bring your own glass vase or jar if you prefer.
Each participant must register separately. No walk-in spaces available. Children under the age of 5 are free, however they must be registered by phone. All children must be accompanied by an adult.



Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and work towards a common artistic goal.
