Ukulele Jam is a fun way to learn how to play the ukulele in a group setting. Students will learn the basics from strumming to picking, to reading music, all while learning to play their favorite songs! Basic improvisation will also be taught. The program is once a week for an hour in length and is for three to six students.

In order to participate in any of the Neighbour Note music programs, you must be at least seven years of age. Students will be placed into groups of similar age, ability, and musical preference. Each group will meet once a week for an hour with our expert staff to learn how to play the ukulele. All Neighbour Note music programs run for nine months of the year.

Our ukulele course is designed to help students learn their favorite music by strumming, picking, and singing along!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Responsibility: Learn responsibility working together as a team while playing the ukulele with others.
  • Tolerance: Develop patience as you work together in a group setting learning to play and sing with others.
