    My son attended the summer 2024 MVP Basketball Camp. Unfortunately, he came down with a high fever halfway through the week and was not able to stay for the entire experience. From a parent's perspective, the communication from Mishel and Glen with updates about how he was doing and the care they showed him until we picked him up was incredible. From the first encounter with the initial phone call from Coach Mishel, to the one day experience in Scarborough, the shooting stars game and a week at camp. The camp location was beautiful and was like a spoiled upgrade accustomed to traditional kids camp. You both made a great impression on a young heart. The inspiration and the friendships that you left our son with is truly a lifetime experience. From the words of the camper….. The camp was amazing, I’m gonna miss having a roommate (as no siblings left at home), the food, playing foosball, learning and playing basketball and wrestling with Coach Mishel!     Director's Message

    Hey :) 

    My name is Mishel. You will meet me at camp along with my co camp director Glen.

    For the past 6 years, Glen and I have dedicated our lives to creating unforgettable camp experiences for the youth in Ontario.

    We believe in the power of the right environment, tools, values, and habits to shape our children’s futures. It’s not just about the camp; it's about igniting dreams and crafting the leaders of tomorrow.

    Remember, the magic of camp is not just in the activities or the skills learned. It's in the connections made, near the bonfire, between stories and laughter. Glen and I met at camp, a testament to the incredible bonds that form in this unique setting.

    By choosing us, you're not just selecting a camp. You're embracing a philosophy that every child, equipped with the right tools and guided by the right people, can become anything they dream to be.

    We're here to answer any questions you have and can't wait to welcome you into our community. Together, let's create memories that will last a lifetime.

    Staff and Counsellors

    Our coaching staff consists of former professional basketball players and current collegiate level players, many of our coaches have NCAA, CEBL and even NBA experience. Our counsellors are very carefully selected and consist of the finest young adults athletes in Ontario.

    More details about property: Campers will enjoy a unique indoor and outdoor experience at Rosseau Lake College, located on a beautiful natural campus by the shores of Lake Rosseau - the most prestigious lake of Muskoka - at 1967 Bright St, Rosseau, ON, P2A 2W8. The scenic grounds feature a peaceful lake, spacious sports fields, lush forests, and cozy village-style cabins.

    More details about accommodations: Villa style 2-4 bedroom dormitories plus a shared living space allowing our campers to foster strong connections with each other.

    Are meals provided? Yes. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, as well as a snack will be provided every day and is included in the price. Please provide a list of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least two weeks prior to the start day of camp. Aramark staff do an exceptional job to accommodate dietary restrictions in cooperation with the health centre. In the case that they cannot accommodate the restrictions, MVPs staff will work with you and your camper to create a solution.
