Super Sculpture ArtVenture Summer Camp

Super Sculpture I: Taking advantage of the McMichael’s substantial sculpture collections, this session will move campers’ art discovery into the world of three-dimensional forms and textures. Working with various sculpting materials, campers will create funky 3-D compositions while exploring sculptures displayed in the gallery spaces and on the McMichael’s grounds. A special visit from Sandra Tarantino, a practicing clay artist, will provide campers with an opportunity to see how a piece of clay comes to life.

Super Sculpture II: By popular demand, we’ve added another session to this multidimensional camp! While new campers are welcome to join, experienced campers who took part in Super Sculpture I are invited to return to new challenges and projects that are as playful and fascinating as those in the original program. This camp is a paradise for artists who love the tactile aspect of artmaking and working with sculpture.
