Lakeshore Summer Splash & Laugh Camp

Our Lakeshore Splash & Laugh Camps include recreational swimming and sports. Campers will participate in water sports and games as well as one hour of formal swim lessons with certified instructors. 

Swim lessons are done in a group setting with a 1:6 ratio and include stroke correction, body buoyancy, and in-water skill development. Campers will learn to strengthen their swim skills in a fun and safe environment. Campers are not required to have any swim experience and will be separated into groups based on skills. 

Lifejackets are provided and will be placed on campers in lower levels and removed throughout the lesson as this is part of the Lifesaving course criteria. When not in the pool, campers will be playing a variety of indoor/outdoor sports and games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games to name a few. 

Lunch is provided for full-day and half-day morning campers.  Snacks are not provided, so we ask that campers bring nut-free snacks for them to enjoy throughout the day.

• 10:15am – 10:30am Change for swimming
• 10:30am – 11:00am Water Sports/Games
• 11:00am – 12:00pm Swimming lessons
• 12:00pm – 12:15pm Change
• 12:15pm – 1:00pm Lunch
• 1:00 pm Pick Up (If Half Day Only)

Afternoon Camp Schedule

• 1:00pm – 2:00pm Recreational Swim
• 2:00pm – 2:15pm Change
• 2:15pm – 2:30pm Snack Break
• 2:45pm –3:45pm Indoor Activities
• 2:45pm – 3:45pm Special Event (Fridays only)
• 3:45pm – 4:00pm Pick-Up

*All full day and AM camps include hot lunch in the bistro.
**Full-week fee will be pro-rated for 4 day weeks where there is a holiday.
