Let your children explore their “designer selves” in this immersive day camp created by Frances Boychuk, Registered Interior Designer and College Professor. Your little designer will come away with excitement and gain a wealth of design knowledge. Learn Colour Theory, 3D Line Perspective, Sketching, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Set + Museum Design. Ages 9-14
This is a fresh new camp in KW, run by interior designer and local influencer Frances Boychuk. The camp exemplifies her passion for using design to encourage positive change in society and to spark creativity in younger generations. Personalized guidance is a hallmark of her teaching here and elsewhere. Little Design School will expand campers’ knowledge of design by exploring concepts like colour theory and perspective, working with examples in furniture, interior, and set design.
At Little Design School, Director Frances Boychuk brings over 20 years of experience in interior design, blending creativity and social responsibility. As a former President of the Grand Valley Chapter of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario, she emphasizes design’s power to create positive change. Frances is passionate about mentoring young minds and inspiring them to explore their creative potential. The camp’s team of Bachelor of Interior Design students shares this passion, offering personalized guidance and fostering collaboration. Together, they provide an immersive experience that builds confidence, creativity, and real-world design skills.
