At La Citadelle, our very young students are our pride and our most precious assets.  In our Child Care unit, we provide them with a positive learning environment that enhances their level of development. Through play experiences and the guidance of specially trained staff, they are henceforth exposed to situations that stimulate their curiosity, initiative and independence and provide them with a sense of self-esteem and decision-making capabilities.

La Citadelle Child Care program has been carefully developed to provide children with communication skills, fine motor development and gross-motor skills through physical activities.  La Citadelle Child Care encourages children to interact with others and teaches them respect for others.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Curiosity: Engaging children in their learning through exploration, play and inquiry, while nurturing their love of learning through discovery and hands-on learning in French and English.
  • Independence: Communication and expression are honoured and celebrated to create a sense of belonging and create confident young learners.
