INTRO TO INSTRUMENTS

Are your kids interested in learning how to play a musical instrument but you’re not sure where to start? Our beginners musical camp is the perfect space to begin! Join us for a fun-filled week of day camp where they will “meet the instruments”. Our camp is designed to introduce children to four different instruments, allowing them the opportunity to explore their musical tastes and learn which instrument they’re most captivated by. Campers will be able to choose from piano, ukulele, violin, or cello. By the end of the week, our campers will have learned how to perform a group-based song on their instrument of choice alongside professional musicians.

In addition to getting themselves familiarized with these instruments, campers will have plenty of fun activities to fill the day including playing with boom-whackers, composing their own songs, and enjoying lively performances by our string trio/quartet staff of professional musicians. The week-long camp will end with a final live performance where all of our campers will participate in an ensemble song and also have the option of performing their own solos or small group pop songs.

Please note that campers must bring a nut-free snack and water on each day. In case of bad weather, we will have an indoor space available. Instrument rental fees are included in the total camp cost.
