STEM LEGO® Engineering & Outdoor Camp

Designed for older junior elementary campers, these full-day camps are limited to participants ages 7 and 8 (and 9, if parents feel the younger age group is more appropriate for their child).

The camp combines mornings with Orange STEM Education, Ottawa’s leader in LEGO Robotics and Engineering, plus afternoons focussing on outdoor activities (with Camp staff, off of screens) designed to keep the body moving and the brain healthy. 

During Lego Engineering, they will learn LEGO Technic building skills, engineering principles, teamwork and organization. Hands-on projects will bring machines to life using motors and gears.  The campers will build pre-programmed Mindstorms® robots and perform challenges.

For all of our Junior Elementary STEM Camps, each week also includes our traditional splash pad visit, and pizza day - with vegetarian and lactose free options available.
