In this two-week program, young leaders will gain hands-on experience by shadowing counsellors in Harbourfront Centre’s Young Campers programs. They will take on leadership roles, interact with younger campers and develop key skills like teamwork and communication. The session will conclude with a cumulative project that gives back to the Harbourfront Centre community.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Responsibility: Awareness of the relationship between behaviour and consequences. Willingness to take ownership of consequences, good and bad.
Independence: Ability and willingness to do things on one’s own. Self-initiative, self-motivation, self-care. Decisiveness.
